Welcome to The Record, we are all about news that is totally groovy! We publish articles on a variety of topics, including music and concert reviews, opinion pieces, and St Andrews news. We encourage articles with a musical or arts related theme but are open to anything you deem newsworthy!
The Record is an open space for people to write about their passions and interests. Whether you are an experienced writer or have never published anything before, we would love to hear what you have to say.
We take on writers and article submissions throughout the year, simply fill out an application form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
About The Editor
My name is Sabrina (she/her) and I am the Editor for The Record 2026/7! I am a third-year English and Film student, and joined STAR last year as a co-host of the radio show ‘Don’t Judge a Book by its Tune.’ My most prized possessions are my ever-growing CD collection and the CD player that is almost always playing in my flat kitchen. I enjoy writing film reviews and opinion pieces, and I am so excited to read your submissions this year! I hope to make The Record a fun, inviting space for those with any experience level to have their creative voice heard and share their work with others.
